Terms of Participation

The Office of General Services (OGS) welcomes and encourages public participation on social media. By contributing on OGS social media sites, you agree not to post any content that contains advertising for private or political purposes, statements that are demeaning or disparaging to an individual or group of individuals, obscene content or links to obscene content, statements that promote illegal goods, services or activities; involves the sharing of private, personal or sensitive information or promotes; or fosters or perpetuates discrimination on the basis of age, race, creed, color, national origin, sexual orientation, military status, gender, disability, predisposing genetic characteristics, marital status or affiliation with any political, nongovernmental or civic group. All content on OGS social media sites is reviewed by OGS after it is submitted by a user. OGS reserves the right to delete any content, and block or remove any users that violate the Terms of Participation. Unless a copyright is indicated, information on any OGS social media site is in the public domain and may be copied and distributed without permission. If a copyright is indicated on a video, photo, graphic, or other material, permission to copy the material must be obtained from the original source. Any information you post on an OGS social media site is public information and may be subject disclosure to third parties.
